Branches with leaves must run through the
machine completely before you can add more
material. Please ensure that the shredded
material can fall into the co llecti on container
fr eely without blocking the ejection opening.
Ensure that the shredded material does not block
the ven til a tion openings ( cover, clog, etc.).
Extended shredding of wood or shredding thick
wood or strong branches can cause the machine
to stop due to clogging or jamming.
So ft material like leaves or small branches can
clog the machine easily. Use a s tick or a rod to
push this material in.
Always check waste material for nails and stones
since this could severely damage the shredder.
Be careful in the event of vibra tion s; these are
typically a sign of worn or damaged blades.
Always change the blade as necessary.
8. Care and maintenance

Before commencing cleaning
and maintenance procedures,
make sure the garden shred-

nected from the mains supply.
Always wear sturdy leather
gloves when cleaning the cut-
ter blades.
1. To ensure the best performance from the
garden shredder, it must be kept clean.
2. Always clean the garden shredder immediately
a ft er use.
3. Do not allow material to become dry and hard
on any of the garden shredder surfaces. This will
directly a ff ect the shredding performance.
4. Make sure that the feeder chute and the
ejec tion chute are kept clean and clear of all
waste material.
5. Make sure that all nuts, bolts and screws are
tig ht and secure.
6. Always have any damaged, or worn parts
repaired, or replaced b y qualified pe rsonnel.
7. Do not use any cleaning or solvent materials
as these could cause irreparable damage to your
machine. Chemicals could destroy the ar tifici al
materials.
8. Oil the blade a ft er every f ourth or fifth use.
8.1 Changing the Blades
The blades must always be changed in pairs. To
do so, open the shredder and block the blades
with a screwdriver. Use the supplied Allen key to
remove the screws. Install the new blades in the
opposite order.

9. Storage
In order to protect the shredder from
corrosion during extended storage, apply
some environmentally friendly oil to the blade.
Make sure that the garden shredder has been
thoroughly cleaned before storing it in a clean,
dry place out of the reach of children

11. Waste disposal and environmental
prot ection
If your device should become useless somewhere
in the future or you do not need it any longer,
do not dispose of the device together with
your domes ti c refuse, but dispose of it in an
environmentally friendly manner. Please dispose
of the device itself at an according collec tin g/
recycling point. By doing so, plas tic and metal
parts can be separated and recycled. Informa tion
concerning the disposal of materials and devices
are available from your local administra tion.

13. Warranty
For this tool, the company provides the end user
- independently from the retailer‘s obliga tion s
r esulting from the purchasing contract - with the
following warran ties:
The warranty period is 24 months beginning
from the hand-over of the device which has to be
proved by the original purchasing document. For
commercial use and use for rent, the warranty
period is reduced to 12 months. Wearing parts
and defects caused by the use of non fittin g
accessories, repair with parts that are not original
parts of the manufacturer, use of force, strokes
and breaking as well as mischievous overloading
of the motor are excluded from this warranty.
Warranty replacement does only include
def ecti ve parts, not complete devices. Warranty
repair shall exclusively be carried out by
authorized service partners or by the company‘s
customer service. In the case of any interven tion
of not authorized personnel, the warranty will be
held void.
All postage or delivery costs as well as any
other subsequent expenses will be borne by the
customer.
