3. Calibrate (Zero) the Meters:
a.Set Sync-Row dial to original zero (Marked by a
black line under the magnetic decal).
b.Raise control windows on front and back meters on
first set of twin rows. .
c.Place a 7/8" wrench on the hex shaft and turn
clockwise (top of shaft moves toward the tractor) at the
same time place a thumb on the seed disc of the front
meter through the control window and apply enough
pressure to keep the disc from freewheeling forward
and to take up any slack in the meter drive chain. See
Figure 1.
