This allows the user to calibrate correction filters that use the new DLBC features. Without a license you
will not have the choice of the “Full Bass Optimisation”.
Existing owners upgrading from version 1.5 shouldn’t notice any difference in the HTP-1’s operation
until they do a Dirac calibration session using the latest code. All existing filters should still work.
The method by which Dirac filters are stored in the unit has evolved. Newly created filters will be stored
in an updated format. Existing filters are still recognized.
If you upgrade and create new calibration
filters and then downgrade the HTP-1 software below the version 1.7, the new filters may be overwritten
as unrecognizable.
There is a way to save and restore your Dirac filters without relying on the Dirac Live tool. Enter this
hidden URL to trigger a script to save the current Dirac slots to a directory on the machine’s file system.
