- Place the tire on the rim and bring the swing arm into its operating position. Position the bottom
bead (as shown in Figure 26) so that it is above the rear portion of the mount/demount head
and below the front portion.
- Press the table top pedal
to begin clockwise rotation and thus mount the bead. Use
the wheel’s drop centre by pushing down on the sidewall opposite the head (as shown in Figure
26) to reduce tensional force on the bead as the wheel rotates.
- Once the bottom bead is completely mounted, repeat the same steps for the upper bead (Fig.27).
