Portable Amplifier System
These instructions are intended for users
without any specific technical knowledge .
Please read these instructions carefully prior to
operation and keep them for later reference .
1 Overview
1 Eyes for fastening the shoulder strap

3 Power switch for the receiver section and
volume control for the microphone signal
4 Channel selector switch
5 Red power LED PW:
will light up when the receiver section is
switched on
6 Green reception LED RF:
will light up when a suitable transmitter
is switched on and set to the radio fre-
quency of the receiver section
7 Microphone input MIC IN (6 .3 mm jack,
unbal .)
8 Input AUX IN (3 .5 mm jack, unbal .) to
connect a unit with line output, e . g . CD
player, cassette recorder, radio
9 Output MIX OUT (3 .5 mm jack, unbal . ) to
con nect another active speaker system or
a recorder
The output level is independent of the
control MAIN VOL (11) .
10 TONE control
11 Power switch for the unit and control for
the total volume
12 Red LED LO BAT:
– will light continuously when the unit
is switched on and the battery is still
sufficiently charged
– will flash when the battery must be re-
charged
13 Green charging LED CG:
– will flash when the power supply unit
is connect ed and the battery is being
recharged
– will light continuously when the power
supply unit is connected and the battery
has been fully recharged
14 Connection jack DC IN for the power sup-
ply unit supplied
2 Safety Notes
The units (active speaker system and power
supply unit) correspond to all relevant directives
of the EU and are therefore marked with .
WARNING The power supply unit is sup-
plied with hazardous mains
voltage . Leave servicing to
skilled personnel only . Inexpert
handling may cause an electric
shock hazard .

The power supply unit is suitable for indoor
use only . The active speaker system is also
suitable for outdoor use if it is protected
against precipitation and humidity . The
shoulder bag supplied with the unit will en-
sure sufficient protection against humidity .

Always protect the units against dripping
water and splash water, high air humidity
and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C) .
•
Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on
the unit, e . g . a drinking glass .
•
Do not operate the units and immediately
disconnect the mains plug from the socket
1 . if the power supply unit, the active
speaker system or the mains cable are
visibly damaged,
2 . if a defect might have occurred after a
unit was dropped or suffered a similar
accident,
3 . if malfunctions occur .
In any case the units must be repaired by
skilled personnel .

Never pull the mains cable to disconnect
the mains plug from the socket, always
seize the plug .
•
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never
use water or chemicals .
•
No guarantee claims for the units and no
liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the
units are used for other purposes than
originally intended, if they are not correctly
connected or operated, or if they are not
repaired in an expert way .
If the units are to be put out of
operation definitively, take them to
a local recycling plant for a disposal
which is not harmful to the environ-
ment .
3 Applications and Accessories
The audio amplifier system TXA-110 com-
bines a speaker system, an amplifier and a
receiver section for a wireless microphone or
a pocket transmitter . From the MONACOR
product range, the wireless microphone
TXA-100HT and the pocket transmitter
TXA-100HSE with tie clip microphone and
headband microphone are ideally suited for
this amplifier system .
Power is supplied from a mains socket
via the power supply unit supplied or via the
integrated rechargeable battery which allows
mains-independ ent operation . A charger is
integrated for recharging the battery . Thus,
the unit is ideally suited for mobile PA applica-
tions at events, lectures, etc . To provide sound
to larger zones, several active speaker systems
can be set up which will receive and repro-
duce the signal of a wireless microphone .
The system is supplied with a practical
shoulder bag and a shoulder strap .
