10 Diagnostics and Status Information
The following methods are available to check the
current status of the master and the slaves and for
diagnostics:
LED display on the ASi master LE
Status information in the online topology
configurator and in the user program.
LED display on the ASi
master The LED Display on the ASi master LE gives an
overview of the status of the ASi line.
The LEDs show the following states.

1 Configuration
OK green on Configuration OK
off – A configured slave does not respond/is missing
– A slave has been detected which is not contained in the
permanent configuration
– A slave has been detected whose ID or I/O code does not
match the profile in the permanent configuration.
2 ASi Power green on ASi power supply OK
off – The ASi power supply is not connected or is faulty
– The current taken by the ASi slaves is too high
3 ASi active green on The ASi master is active on the bus and detects connected slaves;
depending on operating mode, data is exchanged with the slaves
off The ASi master is not active (offline mode).
No bus activity.
4 Autoadressing
enable green on Autoaddressing is enabled.
off Autoaddressing is not enabled.
5 Configuration
Mode yellow on The ASi master is in Configuration Mode.
off The ASi master is in Protected Mode.
6 Hardware Error red on Hardware error, operation is not possible.
off Hardware OK
