1. Introduction
Thank you for buying a high-quality Mobilex product. These user instructions contain a detailed product
description and important guidelines for correct use of the product. You must read the instructions carefully
before using the product. Please always observe all guidelines, in particular the security instructions, in order
to use the product safely for a long time. The wheelchairs "Dolphin” and “Barracuda” have been designed for
persons with limited motion abilities, it enables them transportation and moving, can be used indoor as well as
outdoor. Users can move with the wheelchair independently or with a help of attendant. The wheelchair has been
tested and fulfils all requirements imposed by the law. Materials used in the wheelchair fulfill strength requirements.
Upon a correct usage of the wheelchair we foresee its failure-free work for years.
Indications
Manual wheelchairs are indicated for people with mobility limitations who have problems with walking, standing or
sitting without stable support. The wheelchair is indicated for use to move around in a sitting position, independently
or with the help of an attendant. Using the wheelchair for purposes other than those indicated above, is prohibited.
Contraindications
The wheelchair should not be used by people who cannot maintain a stable sitting position. Contraindications cannot
be related to one specific clinical picture and they depend on individual evaluation of potential user’s health status.
The choice of orthopedic aid appropriate for a given clinical picture must be always made with the help of a
specialist physician or physiotherapist. In addition, observe the safety information in chapter 2.

2. Safety requirements

Only use the product in flawless condition.
•
If defects or errors are detected you must immediately contact the dealer.
•
Be aware of the information on the product label.
•
Only use the product for the described purpose.
•
Don’t climb on to the device
•
The device must only be used on stable surface.
•
When adjusting the device the user must take care not to squeeze the fingers or other body parts.
3. Description
Wheelchair provides:
•
A comfortable transportation and storage thanks to its crossed frame structure and wheels with a quick-
release axle
•
Easiness of maneuvering
•
Easy transfer to - and out of the wheelchair
•
The durability and the solidity of the structure
The wheelchairs consists of the following elements:
1. Push handles –height-adjustable, enabling the attendant
maneuvering the wheelchair.
2. Backrest – made of smooth incombustible material, enabling
also easy upholstery cleaning. On Barracuda the angle is
adjustable into 3 different positions.
3. Armrest – adjustable in height. It is used as a comfortable
support of forearms. It also facilitates getting in and out of
the wheelchair.
4. Main wheels – Majority of the user's weight rests on these 24
inches pneumatic wheels. Wheels can be easily take off,
which facilitates the transportation of the wheelchair.
5. Push rim – Thanks to push rims fastened to main wheels self
propelled drive of the wheelchair is possible.
WARNING! Do not put fingers between the wheel and the
handrims. It threatens the injury of the palm.
6. Front wheels – 8 inches turning wheels are installed on
rotating forks, which makes maneuvering of the wheelchair
possible.
7. Cross –thanks to it the wheelchair can be easily fold for
transportation and storage.
