Set the PHASE switch (6) to the position
at which the playback is "cleanest”.

Switch the connected amplifier off
again.

Switch off the active subwoofer again.

Handling

• Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has

been taken from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation that develops
may destroy the product under certain circumstances. Allow the device to reach
room temperature before connecting it to the power supply. Wait until the
condensation water has evaporated.

• Never connect or disconnect power plugs when your hands are wet.
• Never disconnect power plugs from the mains socket by the cable. Always pull out

it out of the mains socket by holding it at the contact surfaces provided for this
purpose.

• Always disconnect the power plug from the mains socket if the device is not going

to be used for longer periods of time.

• To ensure adequate ventilation, there must be an open area around the housing of

5 cm. Apart from this, the air circulation may not be obstructed by objects such as
magazines, table cloths, curtains or similar.

• For safety reasons, always disconnect the power plug from the mains socket dur-

ing thunder and lightning.

• Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This could damage

your hearing.

Servicing

Check the technical safety of the active subwoofer regularly, for example, for dam-
age to the mains cable or the housing.

If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, take the
device out of operation immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation. Dis-
connect the power plug from the mains socket!

No buzzing noise should be audible. The
bass should not sound "swollen” or
"bearish”.

Put the operating mode switch (4) into
the position "OFF”.
When the operating mode switch (4) is
set to "AUTO”, the active subwoofer will
switch off again automatically after
approx. 10 min.

Set-up example:

Signal connection

For connecting the input, only use suitably shielded cinch connec-
tion cables. The use of any other cable may cause interference.
To avoid distortion or mismatching which could damage the
device, only devices with cinch outputs may be connected to
cinch inputs.
For this, observe also the connection data in the section "Techni-
cal Data”.
The connecting cables may not be pinched or damaged by sharp
edges.
Before connecting the active subwoofer, switch off the subwoofer
itself and all other devices which are to be connected and discon-
nect the devices from the power supply grid.
Proceed similarly in altering the circuit.
