To turn on or off the phone lock code,
PIN code
Your SIM is provided with a 4-8 digit PIN code to protect it from unauthor-
ised usage. When enabled the PIN code will be asked for each time the
phone is turned on. If you enter the wrong PIN code three times in succes-
sion your SIM card will be blocked and you will need the 8 digit PUK code
from your service provider (see page 39).
To turn on and off the PIN,
To change the PIN code (PIN must first be enabled),
PIN2 code
The PIN2 code prevents unauthorised access to some features of the
phone such as turning on or off FDN operations, modifying the FDN
phonebook, setting calls costs to zero, modifying the costs display fea-
tures. It can be changed but not turned on or off.
To change the PIN2 code,

The phone lock code will be requested to authorise your selec-
tion.

When phone lock is on emergency calls can still be made.
