8.3 Second step of troubleshooting
Trouble I
Control equip-
ment does not
work satisfac-
torily when it
is turned on
for the first
time.
Checkup
As far as the control
of
equipment is handled
carefully, this type
trouble is quite unl
to occur.
The most
possible cause is,
ikely
(1) Mechanical shock or
impact was given to
the equipment dur-
ing shipment, in-
stallation or hand-
ling.
(2) Wiring is incorrect,
or disconnected.
Check grounding wire.
(It is not required
to consider power
phase sequence.)
(3) Check ROM No. and
parameters against the
order sheets.
(4) Motor speed cannot be
increased.
(5) No-load operation is
in good condition.
Only oriented spindle
stop function is notir
good condition (over-
run,
etc.)
(7) "Alarm"
lamp lights.
Remedy
(2)
if
any part of the
equipment is
maged.
(3) Check that the power
indicator LED in
SF-PW is on.
(Note 1)
Check the wiring.
(3) If discrepancy is
found,
replace ROM
or change parameter
setting.
(4) Interchange motor
connection between
any two phases (U,
V and W).
(5) Check load condition.
(6) Readjust.
