Function List of Configuration Tool
This section shows the function list of the configuration tool.
Other functions
Time synchronization function
A function to synchronize the time of the high speed data logger module with a CPU
module.
Auto logging function
A function to automatically start the data logging function, event logging function, and report
function when a SD memory card with the auto logging settings written to it in advance is
inserted in a running high speed data logger module.
File access function
A function to download data logging files, event logging files, report files and recipe files
from the SD memory card inserted in the high speed data logger module to a personal
computer or delete them.
File transfer function
A function to automatically transfer saved logging files and report files to the FTP server or
shared folder.
E-mail function
A function to automatically send saved logging files and report file, or notify event
occurrences.
Event history function
A function to record event generated by the high speed data logger module in event history
file.
Free space adjustment function
A function to delete old logging files and report files when the free space of an SD memory
card reaches the specified free space.
FTP server function
A function to access FTP client from personal computer with respect to the file in the SD
memory card mounted on the high speed data logger module.
Self-diagnostics function
A function to perform self-diagnostics test to check the hardware of the high speed data
logger module.
Online module change
A function to change modules without stopping the running system. For the procedure, refer
to the following manual.

Description
Project management
function
A function to create or edit setting file (project file) of the high speed data logger module.
Import function
A function to import any setting from project file saved in the personal computer.
Export function
A function to output the project which is being edited on the configuration tool as a setting
information CSV file. It can also be output to the SD memory card inserted in the personal
computer in a module-operable format.
Project file conversion function
A function to convert the project file created using a Q series high speed data logger
module to that of the high speed data logger module.
Data logging setting function
A function to configure the settings to use the data logging function of the high speed data
logger module.
Event logging setting function
A function to configure the settings to use the event logging function of the high speed data
logger module.
Report setting function
A function to configure the settings to use the report function of the high speed data logger
module.
Excel layout setting function
A function to set the layout of a report file to be created using the report function on Excel.
Common setting
function
A function to configure the settings to use the security function and other functions of the
high speed data logger module.
Network setting function
A function to set the IP address and network connection related settings of the high speed
data logger module.
Time synchronization setting function
A function to configure the settings to use the time synchronization function of the high
speed data logger module.
Access target CPU setting function
A function to set the target CPU module for sampling data of the high speed data logger
module.
File transfer setting function
A function to set the information of the file server that transfers the created file.
E-mail setting function
A function to set SMTP server and destination addresses for sending created file or
notifying event.
Security setting function
A function to configure the settings to use the access authentication function and IP filter
function of the high speed data logger module.
Logging operation setting function
A function to configure the settings to use the auto logging function of the high speed data
logger module. Operation start wait time of the high speed data logger module can be
specified.
SD memory card setting function
A function to configure the settings to use the free space adjustment function.
