Thermistor Check Procedure
• Thermistor resistance value will vary
with the change of temperature.
• Take the temperature around the ther-
mistor, and then measure thermistor
resistance using a tester.
The relation between resistance and tem-
perature is as shown on the left side.

Troubleshooting with self-check
(1) If the self-check indicates the abnor-
mality of thermistor when the power is
turned on, measure the resistance of
the thermistor.
• If there is a short circuit in the ther-
mistor, there may be a defect in the
contact of the connector or the ele-
ment of the thermistor.
(2) When the self-check indicates the
abnormality of thermistor a few sec-
onds after the power is turned on,
check the contact of the connector.
