3 DRIVE THE MOTOR
3.1 Step of operation
The inverter needs frequency command and start command.
Refer to the flow chart below to perform setting.
·When protecting the motor from overheat by the inverter, set
Pr.9 Electronic thermal O/L relay (Refer to
page 32)
·When the rated frequency of the motor is 60Hz, set
Pr.3 Base frequency (Refer to page 52)
CAUTION
Check the following items before powering on the inverter.
· Check that the inverter is installed correctly in a correct place.

· Check that wiring is correct.
(Refer to page 7)
· Check that no load is connected to the motor.
Connect a switch, relay, etc.
to the control circuit
terminal block of the inverter

Start command using the PU connector and
RS-485 terminal of the inverter and plug-in
