Make connection in accordance with the Instruction Manual of the computer to be used with. Fully check the terminal numbers of the computer
since they vary with the model.

NOTE

• When performing RS-485 communication with multiple converter units, use the RS-485 terminals. (Refer to

• Connection cable between the computer and the converter unit

Refer to the following for the connection cable (RS-232C to RS-485 converter) between the computer with an RS-232C
interface and a converter unit. Commercially available products (as of February 2019)

The conversion cable cannot connect multiple converter units. (The computer and a converter unit are connected in a 1:1 pair.) This is an
RS232C-to-RS485 converter-embedded conversion cable. No additional cable or connector is required. For the product details, contact
the manufacturer.
