SX-200 ICP CX/CXi Technician’s Handbook
Using a Remote DHCP Server
Use this procedure to program an external DHCP server (for example,
Windows NT or Windows 2000 server) to support a DHCP address range.
Once programmed, IP phones and PCs will obtain IP addresses from the
external DHCP server rather than the CXi controller.
1. In Form 47 (IP Networking), Subform 02 (DHCP Server):

Disable the internal DHCP server.

Add the following options to the external DHCP server:

which will resolve names in the
Internet DNS system provided
