INSTALLATION CONDITION
Orient the module correctly. Mount the modules with the junction box in the uppermost position and hang the
wires downwards to avoid the ingress of water. For optimal module performance install PV modules facing true
south in northern latitudes and true north in southern latitudes. Shading will reduce electrical production and
can prematurely degrade the viability of the solar module. This installation is applicable when the module is in
portrait orientation. The modules have been evaluated by UL standards for mounting using the recommended
mounting positions.
