Release button
Live image:
Displays the image the camera is capturing.
Quit button:
Quits the software.
Histogram:
The dark area of the histogram shows the luminance distribution of the
recorded image from black (left) to white (right).
Connect/Disconnect:
Switches connection and disconnection between the camera and the
computer.
DiMAGE Viewer:
If the DiMAGE Viewer is already installed, clicking this button will start
up the DiMAGE Viewer.
Indicator area:
Settings of the camera are shown here.
Release button:
Placing the mouse cursor over this button acts the same as pressing
the camera’s shutter-release button partway down and activates the
autofocus and autoexposure system; the edge of the button turns
green. Click the button to take a picture, see page 20.
