IRMWARE UPGRADE
miniDSP may periodically provide an update to the nanoAVR DL MCU firmware to enable new features. To
update the MCU firmware, download the latest version of the
nanoAVR DL utility
from the User Downloads
section of the miniDSP.com website. Unzip the download and run the installer. Then follow the steps below.
Note that the firmware upgrade tool is, as of publication of this User Manual, available on Windows only.
1.
Unplug DC power from the nanoAVR DL.
2.
Connect the nanoAVR DL to your PC using the USB cable.
3.
Press and hold the power button and plug in the DC power
cable.
4.
Release the power button. Verify that only Preset 1 LED is blinking and all other
LEDs are off.
5.
Navigate to the directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\miniDSP\nanoAVR DL\firmware_tools\Windows
and
run the program
PIC32UBL
.
6.
Check the
Enable
checkbox in the
USB
pane near the bottom of the window.
