To ensure proper operation, cables longer than 500 m should not be used.
For cables longer than 50m, the screen of the cable may not be connected to the
housing of the weighing platform, or the weighing platform and the interface must
be connected with limited resistivity (e.g., by connecting to an equipotential
grounding busbar).

500m are permitted if the cable specifications do not exceed the
