Activating the service mode

If a code word is requested at this point, enter the service access code (see
Chapter
) and continue with "Adopt service access code".

Entering geographical data for legal metrology
Entering the geographical data allows you to calibrate the scale externally at a calibration
site (e.g., at the manufacturer’s or vendor’s premises) that is not the same as the current
site of installation. If the scale is calibrated at the subsequent site of installation, it is not
necessary to enter the geographical data.
The sensitivity of a scale varies depending on where it is set up, as it depends on the local
gravitational force or, more speciically, the gravitational acceleration. Adjusting the
