Operating Instructions Combics 3 Filling
27
Operation
You can define which function is assigned to the digital
outputs 1-8, which are supplied by the multi-I/O converter
or the internal, electrically isolated 5 outputs of the digital
I/Os (option A5).
The following functions can be assigned:
– Off, no function (factory setting),
for a list see page 25
– Coarse (activates the coarse flow valve)
– Fine (activates the fine flow valve)
– Within tolerance (status information)
– Filling active (status information: filling operation in
progress)
– Underfill (status information)
– Overfill (status information)
Only option H4:
– Ready (status information: ready for filling operation)
– Material flow too low (status information)
– Material flow too high (status information)
– Stabilization timer active (status information)
– Drain
(activates the valve for draining the filling container)
– Refill
(activates the valve for refilling the storage container)
Digital inputs
You can define which function is assigned to the universal
in key or the digital inputs 1–7, which are supplied by the
multi-I/O converter or the internal, electrically isolated
5 inputs of the digital I/Os (option A5).
The following functions can be assigned:
– Off, no function (factory setting),
for a list see page 24
– Start (start filling)
– Interrupt (pause filling)
– Cancel (cancel filling)
– Continue (continue filling)
Digital outputs
The 4 internal control outputs of Combics3 are assigned as
follows by the option H3:
– Control output “lighter”: Coarse flow
– Control output “equal”: Fine flow
– Control output “heavier”: Within tolerance
– Control output “set”: Filling active
