An image is taken whenever the scan operation is done. The last image is always stored in memory.
The original image can be “shipped” by using the
%OISHP
command.

8-1-7 Responses
The scanner responds to a serial command with one of three responses:
<ACK>
(0x06)
A valid command which has been processed.
<ENQ>
(0x05)
An invalid index command.
<NAK>
(0x15)
A command with a valid parameter index and an invalid value.
