Signal Control
Use a 0 - 10 VDC analog voltage signal that is isolated from earth
ground to drive the motor from 0 to 1800 RPM (Figure 9). This is
accomplished by wiring a 1K ohm resistor in series with the speed
adjust pot wiper and applying the DC voltage across the resistor.
Use the speed adjust pot to set the motor’s minimum speed.
If only a grounded signal is available, use a Minarik PCM4 Process
Control Module to convert the signal to ungrounded (floating).
