The sliders used for
Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma
you
control over the same range as with the presets in the
camera, but it is a much finer
c
ontrol.
The color sliders* give you control over the RGB gains. It is
advisable to use the color sliders with a grey card to get good
color balance:
1. Frame the camera image on a neutral gray object. (A gray
card, piece of white paper, white wall etc.)
2. Turn on the histogram on the camera display.
3. Adjust the light or F-stop so that the histogram shows most
pixel values in mid range. You will see a separate peak for
Red, Green, and Blue. Green will likely be highest.
4. Adjust the gains for Blue and Red up so that the peaks
match the Green.

Use the Arm, Trigger, Live, and Review

control the state of the camera:
When the camera is in Live mode with
no captured images in its bu

ons will be enabled
(bright) and the Trigger and Review

ons will be disabled (grayed).
Click on the
Arm

on whenever it is
enabled and to go into Record mode.
This will arm the camera, recording the
pre-trigger frames.

on will now turn Brown
and change to “Armed.” The Trigger bu

on will become enabled. Clicking on the
Armed

on, will de-arm the camera (a

er a warning message), just like pressing the
mechanical Arm bu

on on the camera while the camera is recording.
