Phase I
· Remove any visible residues with a disposa-
ble disinfectant wipe.
· Wipe all surfaces of the optically
clean product with a fresh, disposable disin-
fectant wipe.
· Observe the specified contact time (1 minute
minimum).
Inspection
· After each complete cleaning/disinfection
cycle, check the product for damage.
· Set aside the product if it is damaged.
Storage
· Store reprocessed products protected from
dust in a dry, dark and cool room which is
exposed to as little bacterial contamination.
MAINTENANCE/CALIBRATION
The
Reader Unit
requires no maintenance.
CALIBRATION OF BARD SENSOR
The Reader Unit is equipped with a barometric
pressure sensor (BARD sensor). To ensure that
pre-defined tolerance limits are upheld, calibra-
tion is necessary on an annual basis.
For the purposes of calibration, the device
should be sent each year to the following

Note: When undergoing calibration, the device
will also be subjected to thorough functional
and technical safety inspection.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If an error occurs, it will be displayed on the
screen.
