Using stain remover
When automatic detergent dispensing
is selected, the compartments
i
and
j
in the detergent dispenser drawer
are not rinsed out with water.
How to add stain remover:
1. Fill a dispensing aid (detergent ball)
with stain remover and place this in
the drum.
or
2. Switch off automatic detergent
dispensing. Dispense the detergent
and the stain remover via the
detergent dispenser drawer.
Using fabric conditioner or liquid starch
Fabric conditioner and liquid starch can
be added to the
§
compartment in the
detergent dispenser drawer. These will
automatically be dispensed in the last
rinse.

Please note:
Use the information in the display for
the correct detergent dispensing.
The percentage shown relates to the
amount of detergent recommended by
the manufacturer on the packaging.
50%
= Add half the amount
recommended
60%
= Add slightly more than half
the amount recommended
75%
= Add three quarters of
the amount recommended
100%
= The full amount of detergent
recommended
You also need to take the level of
soiling and water hardness into
account.
It is important to dispense the correct
amount because too little detergent
results in:
– Laundry not getting properly clean
and with time it may become grey
and hard to the touch.
– Greasy particles clinging to the
laundry.
– Limescale deposits on the heater
elements.
Too much detergent results in:
– Excessive foam which causes a low
level of agitation and poor wash,
rinse and spin results.
– High water consumption (an
additional rinse cycle will
automatically switch in).
– A burden to the environment.
