Rinsing the ice cube maker
Rinse out the ice cube maker and
the water pipes:
– before using for the first time,
– if the ice cube maker has not been
used for quite a while,
– regularly (at least once a month) if
it is constantly being used, to
remove any ice residues and
therefore avoid an blockages in the
water pipes, and
– before switching the ice cube
maker off for an extended period of
time.
After selecting "Rinse the ice cube
maker", the ice cube maker

and the
water pipes will automatically be rinsed
with water from the water tank until the
tank is empty.
The ice cube tray will turn to the
cleaning position so that it can be
cleaned by hand.

Use lukewarm water only to rinse the
ice cube maker. Do
not
use hot or
boiling water.
Do not add
dishwasing liquid
to the water.

Pull the water tank forwards to
remove it.

Clean it thoroughly with water to
remove any dust etc.

Fill it up to the marker with cold, fresh
water.

Place the filled water tank in its
holder and push it all the way in.
Make sure the water tank clicks into
position and sits correctly in its
holder.
Ensure the ice cube drawer is empty
before selecting "Rinse the ice cube
maker". The water will otherwise flow
onto the contents of the drawer.
