Rinse the ice cube maker and the
water pipes:
– before using for the first time,
– after a long period of not being
used,
– regularly if the ice cube maker is
constantly on (at least once a
month) to remove ice residues and
prevent the water pipes from
becoming blocked,
– before switching the ice cube
maker off for a long period of time.

To avoid the build-up of mould, do
not leave water in the water tank for
more than a day.
In order to make fresh ice cubes,
the water should be changed on a
regular basis, and definitely before
switching on the ice cube maker.
Carefully clean and dry the water
tank on a regular basis.
Do not use the ice cube maker for a
long period of time if the refrigerator
section has been switched off
separately.

Switch off the appliance.

Pull the water tank forwards to
remove it.

Clean it thoroughly with water to
remove any dust etc.
^
Fill it up to the marker with cold, fresh
water.
^
Place the filled water tank in its
holder and push it all the way in.
Make sure the water tank clicks into
position and sits correctly in its
holder.
Ensure the ice cube drawer is empty.
