Notes on connecting to the
mains water supply
Connection to the mains water
supply should only be carried out by
a qualified and competent person in
accordance with national and local
regulations.
The water quality must conform to
the requirements for drinking water
in the country the appliance is being
installed in.
– The appliance is only suitable for
connection to the cold water supply.
– The water pressure (flow rate) must
be between 1.5 and 6 bar.
– The stainless steel hose is 1.5 m
long. This may only be lengthened
by means of a Miele 1.5 m WPS
extension hose.
The extension hose is available from
the Miele Spare Parts Department.
– A stopcock must be provided
between the stainless steel hose and
the household water supply to
ensure that the water supply can be
cut off if necessary.
– Before using the appliance for the
first time the water inlet pipe should
be purged of air by a qualified and
competent person.
The stopcock should be easily
accessible after the appliance has
been built in.
If the appliance is not supplied with the
stainless steel hose already fitted,
^
it should be attached to the solenoid
valve at the base of the appliance at
the back.
Ensure that the hose is fitted correctly
and that it is water tight.
