Renewing the pa-
per roll
A red indicator light behind the front panel of the printer will light up
when the printer roll is finished. Check how much paper is left on the
roll, regularly. To do this:
Open the front panel of the printer at the upper edge and then open
it downwards.
Take the empty roll together with its spindle from the roller holder, fit
the new roll on the spindle and put back in place.
Guide the paper up and over the paper feed roller (slot behind the
ribbon), ensuring that the grey paper feed button is kept pressed in
until the paper emerges above the ribbon.
Guide the paper through the slot in the front panel, then close the
front panel.
Replacement paper rolls (58 mm wide, outer diameter approx. 50
mm) can be purchased from the Miele Spare Parts Department or
from an office stationery supplier.
Replacing the
cartridge
Open the front panel of the printer at the upper edge and then open
it downwards.
Pull the cartridge (above the paper roll) forward and out of its
holder, then put in a new one. Ensure the paper still passes
between the ribbon and the cartridge.
Turn the small wheel for manual ribbon feed on the right in a clock-
wise direction until the ribbon is taut.
Guide the paper through the slot in the front panel, then close the
front panel.
Replacement colour ribbon cassettes can be bought from the Miele
Spare Parts dept or from an office stationery supplier.
