Mobile units, modules and inserts
Mobile units, modules and inserts should be checked daily to make
sure they are functioning correctly. The washer-disinfector is supplied
with a check list.
Check the following points:
– Are the rollers in good condition, and are they securely attached to
their mobile units/modules?
– Are the locking caps in the module connectors of modular system
mobile units working properly?
– Are all jets, sleeves and hose adaptors securely attached to mobile
units/inserts?
– Are all jets, sleeves, and hose adapters clear so that wash water
can flow through unhindered?
– Are all caps and fasteners securely attached to the sleeves?
Where applicable:
– Make sure that the spray arms rotate freely.
– Make sure the spray arm jets are free of any blockages. See
"Cleaning the spray arms".
– Are the screws in the magnetic rails for automatic mobile unit re-
cognition (AWK) tightly secured?
– Make sure there are no metallic objects sticking to the magnetic rail
on the mobile unit.
Mobile units, modules and inserts must be inspected periodically to-
gether with the washer-disinfector after 2000 operating hours or at
least once per year, see "Maintenance/Periodic checks".
