Problem
Possible cause
Remedy
Knocking noise in the
water pipes
This may be caused by
the on site installation or
the cross-section of the
piping.
This has no influence on
dishwasher function. If in
doubt contact a plumber.
Dishes are not clean
The dishes were not
loaded correctly. Dishes
were placed inside other
pieces and water could
not reach all surfaces.
See notes in “Loading the
dishwasher”.
The outlet of the water
feed for the middle spray
arm was covered. Not
enough water flowed into
the middle spray arm.
Make sure that dishes in-
serted in the rear of the
upper basket do not
cover the water feed
tube.
The program was not
powerful enough.
Select a more intensive
program see “Program
chart”.
Not enough detergent
was dispensed.
Use more detergent, see
“Operating the dish-
washer”.
Tall items are blocking
the spray arms.
Rearrange items so that
the spray arms can rotate
freely.
The spray arm jets are
blocked.
Clean the spray arm jets,
see “Cleaning and care”.
The filter combination in
the base of the wash cab-
inet is not clean or is not
correctly seated.
This may cause the spray
arms to be blocked.
Clean and/or replace the
filter combination cor-
rectly, Clean the spray
arms, see “Cleaning and
care”.
The drain pump or
non-return valve may be
blocked.
Clean the drain pump
and the non-return valve,
see “Cleaning the drain
pump and non-return
valve”.
