Water Path Leakage Test
In the event water is present in bottom of the appliance, or a leak is
suspected; the following procedure will help
in locating the source of the leak.
Caution
Heaters can be hot during this test and hot water may escape from
the system
1. Fill the Water reservoir completely
2. Place the appliance into the Service Mode with the Selector Knob
in the Programming position. (refer to section 6 for further
information on service mode access)
3. Press and hold all three coffee buttons - check for signs of leakage
(dripping, squirting etc...)
4. Release the three coffee buttons to end the test
If the steps 1-5 does not disclose any leaks - continue as follows.
5. Fill the Water reservoir completely
6. Place the appliance into the Service Mode
7. Quickly turn the selector knob to the “Operation” position
8. Press and hold all three coffee buttons for 30 seconds
9. Quickly turn the selector knob to the “Programming” position
10. Press and hold all three coffee buttons - check for signs of leakage
(dripping, squirting etc...)
11. Release the three coffee buttons to end the test
