Stainless steel
The Original Miele ceramic and
stainless steel cooktop cleaner is
suitable for cleaning stainless steel
surfaces (see "Optional accessories").
To help prevent resoiling, we
recommend a stainless steel
conditioner (see "Optional
accessories").
Apply sparingly with a soft cloth.
Do not use stainless steel cleaning
agents on
printed
surfaces. This
would rub off the print. These areas
should be only cleaned with a
microfibre cloth or with a solution of
warm water and a little washing-up
liquid applied with a soft sponge.
Standing surface
These areas should be cleaned after
each
use using a microfibre cloth or
with a solution of warm water and a little
washing-up liquid applied with a soft
sponge. Stubborn soiling should be
soaked first. Wipe the surfaces dry
using a soft cloth.
The standing surface must not be
cleaned in a dishwasher.
You can remove the standing surface to
clean it and to access the building-in
frame underneath it for cleaning.
Make sure that the standing surface is
in the correct position when you
replace it. If it is not positioned
correctly, you will not be able to lower
the browning unit to its full extent.
Building-in frame
Clean the building-in frame regularly.
Remove any food deposits or liquid im-
mediately. Clean it with a microfibre
cloth or with a solution of warm water
and a little washing-up liquid applied
with a soft sponge. Dry it thoroughly
with a clean, soft cloth.
Ceramic surface of the
browning unit
Remove light soiling with a damp cloth.
Then clean the surface with the Original
Miele ceramic and stainless steel
cooktop cleaner (see "Optional
accessories") applied with kitchen
paper or a clean cloth. Do not apply
cleaner whilst the surface is still hot, as
this could result in marking. Please
follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Do not use washing-up liquid on the
ceramic surface of the browning
unit.
Finally, wipe the appliance with a damp
cloth, then polish with a soft, dry cloth.
Ensure that all cleaner residues are
removed. Residues can burn onto the
surface the next time it is heated up
and can cause damage.
