3.8 F41 -- EEPROM Faulty/Data Fault
Cause:
EEPROM faulty/data fault.
Remedy:
1. See
Control/Display Electronic EPWZ (N5) Removal
, Section 025-4.1.
2. Install a new control/display electronic.
3.9 F42 -- Line Frequency Not Registered
Cause:
Frequency fluctuations or power-supply interference.
Remedy:
None.
3.10 F47 -- No Communication Between Control and Power Electronics
Cause:
Faulty interface between control and power electronics.
Remedy:
1. Check the wiring harness between the control electronic and the power electronic.
2. Replace the wiring harness, if necessary.
3.11 F73 -- Brew Unit Fault

After the brew unit is activated, if one of the two microswitches has not been activated
within approximately 10 seconds, fault code
F73
is indicated.
Cause:
Brew unit jammed.
Remedy:
1. Switch off the appliance at the main switch.
2. Remove the brew unit from the appliance.
3. Check if the guide (Figure 070-2, Item 1) is correctly inserted in the brew unit.
