The Display Clock on Models CVA 4062 and CVA 4066 May 
Change Time Unexpectedly 

On some CVA coffee systems, the display clock may change suddenly back to 12:00 
without any warning or user intervention. This applies specifically to the CVA 4062 and 
CVA 4066 models. Other functions of the coffee system are not affected. 

This is a software issue. To resolve it please apply the firmware update provided in the 
latest version of the MDU software (V4.5 11.19.2009) 

If you experience any difficulty when connecting to the CVA with the optical interface, 
remember you may need to turn the machine off for a few seconds using the main 
power switch.

CVA & French Roast Coffee 

In many cases, customers who use Starbucks or Costco French Roast coffee are 
experiencing frequent episodes of brew unit blockages. We do not recommend using 
this style of coffee at this time. The preferred method for brewing French Roast is to 
use a ‘French Press’. Our manufacturing engineers are looking into this situation and if 
there are any changes, we will announce it here. In the meantime, you can quote this 
passage from the Starbucks UK Website:
