3. Pull out the inlet filter (behind the brass elbow) using needlenose pliers.
4. Check and clean the inlet filter with hot water and a brush.

Water Inlet Valve (1Y63, 2Y63) Removal
1. Remove the appliance from its cabinet. See Section 010-4.1.
2. Remove the top cover retaining screws.
3. Remove the top cover.
4. Remove the service door retaining screws; see Figure 080-2, Item 1.

5. Release the wiring harness (black cable) connecting the control and power
electronics from its guide.
6. Open the service door.
7. Unscrew the brass elbow from the rear of the coffee system (see arrow, Figure
080-1). Remove and clean the water intake filter as a preventative measure. Re-
install the filter.
