10. If prompted, measure the ambient battery temperature
by aim the IR temperature sensor on the top of the tester
at the battery case. Once the temperature stabilizes, press
NEXT to begin the test.

If testing a 2-battery, 24-volt pack:
Attach the tester clamps
to the first battery in the pack. Press NEXT to test the
battery. When prompted, move the tester clamps to the
second battery and press NEXT to test it.
11. At the conclusion of the battery test, use the keypad to
enter the VEHICLE ID number and press NEXT to display
the test results. Press SKIP to advance past this step. The
tester will insert zeros in place of a vehicle number.
