6.3 Installation with Remote Commissioning
Remote Commissioning (ReCom) operations are possible in response to any communication cycle in
which the MVA003E transmits a 4BS telegram. ReCom is started with a corresponding UNLOCK
(security code must be correct) command and allows the further access to the device internal parameter.
The ReCom time window is limited to max. 8 seconds following the UNLOCK command. Please make
sure that existing teach connections with active gateways or controller do not interfere when ReCom
operations are executed (deactivate all existing teach connections).

6.4 Remarks Remote Commissioning

ReMan / ReCom operations are executed in response to any 4BS telegram transmitted by the
MVA003E unit
Disconnect any active teach connection when operating ReCom to avoid interference with
4BS responses from active Controller/Gateways
The maximum waiting time for an UNLOCK response to a signal telegram is one (1) second
NOTE: Analogous to 4BS communication on A5-20-01
ReCom starts with an UNLOCK, the required Default Security Code (SC) is 0xFFFFFFFE
Invalid SCs (0x00000000 and 0xFFFFFFFF) are automatically reset to the default SC
Writing the link table plus writing parameters can be done in one sequence
The sequence of processing individual parameters or sequence of link table / parameter is
freely selectable. NOTE: Note the Maturity time of the radio module with successive
commands.
The maximum available time window between UNLOCK and LOCK is 8 seconds
