WHEEL CHANGE
A wheel/tyre change requires techni-
cal knowledge. You should therefore
have this work carried out by a spe-
cialist workshop. Sitting on the
SCOOTER
during a wheel change is
not permitted. The
SCOOTER
must
stand on a level and firm surface. Be-
fore removing a wheel, safely prop up
the chassis and prevent the
SCOOTER
from tipping or moving.
Always change tyres in pairs. Two tyres
with different wear impair the
straight-on travel of the
SCOOTER
.
Caution:
Never loosen the connection screws
of the rim halves (fig. 82/
➁
) to dis-
assemble the wheel.
– Danger of injury!
Detaching the drive wheels
Before replacement or repair the drive
wheel is to be disassembled by un-
screwing the centre hexagon nut (fig.
82/
➀
).
☞
Note:
☞
After attaching the drive wheel the
centre hexagon nut (fig. 82/
➀
) is
to be screwed on tightly again.
☞
The valve points outwards.
