SNMP Protocol

The

SNMP

(Simple Network Management Protocol) is designed to test net-

work devices (routers, bridges, gateways, etc.) operability and to introduce
necessary changes. To make this protocol operational, an agent and manage-
ment system that collects information about agents status, are needed.
