Smudges and dirt can interfere with the proper scanning of a bar code. Therefore, the horizontal and vertical output windows
will need occasional cleaning.
For the glass window:
1. Spray glass cleaner onto lint free, non-abrasive cleaning cloth.
2. Gently wipe the scanner window.
For the inner plastic window:
1. Use mild soap and water with lint free, non-abrasive cleaning cloth.
2. Gently wipe the scanner window.
For scaled Stratos S units, routinely check and clean the base unit to ensure that no debris is interfering with the platter
movement.
