Air flows out of the spray
gun immediately after
having switched on the
compressed air supply.
The air converter is too
long or it is stuck.
Adjust/release the
air converter.
The O-ring of the valve
underpart is defective.
Replace the O-
ring.
No material supply
through the nozzle
The nozzle is clogged.
Dismount and
clean the nozzle.
No material pressure
Verify the paint
conveying device
Material drops coming out
of the nozzle
The nozzle/flare needle is
defective.
Replace the
nozzle/AKKORD
needle.
Impurities within the nozzle Clean the nozzle.
The initial air input has
been (unintentionally)
altered.
Adjust the initial
air input.
The material pressure is
too high.
Reduce the
material pressure.
Insufficient spraying
results
The nozzle cap is dirty or
damaged.
Clean or replace
the nozzle cap.
The nozzle is partially
clogged or it is damaged.
Clean or replace
the nozzle.
The spray gun is spitting
Irregular material supply
Check the material
conveying device
and all feeding
lines.
The material has been
completely consumed.
Check and refill, if
necessary.
Material concentration in
the center of the spray
beam
Insufficiently atomized
material or material which
has not been atomized at
all due to an excessive
material supply.
Verify and adjust
the material
pressure and the
nozzle settings.
Coarse spraying image or
just some drops
The viscosity of the
material is too high.
Dilute the material
accordingly.
Insufficient spraying
qualities of the material
Dilute or change
the material, or
ask the material
manufacturer
regarding low
pressure spraying.
