NEVER OPERATE THE AIR COMPRESSOR WITHOUT 

THE BREATHER/OIL FILLER PLUG.

WARNING:

  Hot surfaces. Risk of burn. Tubes, 

pump head, and surrounding 

parts are very hot, do not touch. 

Allow compressor to cool prior to 

servicing.

NOTE:

 Use synthetic blend non-detergent air compressor oil.

securely mounted.

TRANSPORT

Turn o

  the engine switch before move the compressor. 

Transport the compressor in the correct manner.

Keep the engine level when transporting to reduce the 

possibility of fuel leakage. Move the fuel valve lever to the 

OFF position (refer to the Engine Manual accompanying this 

unit).

WARNING:

   Unit weighs more than 159 lbs 

(72 kg). Do not move or lift without 

assistance. 

           

 Lifting the compressor is a two-

man operation requiring the 

assistance of another person. 

           

 The compressor is lifted by 

gripping hand holds A and B.

WARNING:

loss of balance.

NOTE:  Use the handle to lift or carry the unit.

OPERATION

1. Start-up

A)  Read safety warnings before performing operation.

B)  When the toggle is in the ON position, all air from 

this compressor is vented through the discharge 

mu

  er (Fig. 6).

  This gives an easy start feature. For normal 

operation, the toggle is in the OFF position (Fig. 7).

D)  The operation of this compressor is automatic and is 

controlled by the pilot valve which idles it when the 

pressure in the air-tank reaches the maximum level and 

restarts it when the air pressure drops during use to the 

restart level.

 

The pilot valve is preset by the manufacturer and must 

not be modi

 ed in any way.
