5. Spray a liberal amount of air filter cleaner onto the entire air filter element, and allow it to soak for ten minutes. Do not use
other detergents or diesel.

6. Rinse off the air filter element with low pressure water. Always flush from the clean side to the dirty side. This will remove
the dirt and does not drive it into the filter.
7. After rinsing, shake off any excess water and allow it to air dry naturally, or in the sun. Do not use compressed air.
8. Reoil the air filter element after cleaning. Apply air filter oil (included with Air Filter Cleaning Kit) down each pleat. Wait ten
minutes and reoil any light visible spots.

9. Install the silencer tube into the air filter.

10. Install the air filter assembly onto the engine.
11. Secure the air filter assembly to the air filter base with the clamp.
