HINT:
keep the roof board packs
seperate to prevent mixing them up.
Place the first board from each ‘Roof
Board Pack’
(A, B, C & D )
onto the roof
assembly, working around the
structure, building each layer of roof
boards one by one.
Ensure the roof boards are not laid too
close together, use the spacers
(No.69)
provided to create a 2mm gap.
Adjusting the spacing between the
boards allows the wood to swell in
damp weather.
Once you are happy with the fit of the
roof boards, fix the boards into place
using 40mm screws, ensuring to fix
through the roof board into the truss
below.
