Overview of hydraulic components
1) Oil filter
2) Oil reservoir
The hydraulic system has been improved significantly. In or-
der to prevent fouling of the hydraulic components by dirty
hydraulic fluid, appropriate oil filters have been installed.
•
Basic scope of fan hydraulics/tilting hydraulics/work hy-
draulics: one high-pressure filter, one filter in circuit I and
one return filter in the oil reservoir
•
Power hydraulics: Oil filter
•
Hydraulic hoses: Hydraulic hoses are subject to an aging
process. Mercedes-Benz thus recommends replacing all
hydraulic hoses every 6 years.
