Automatic driving lights function
When the vehicle is switched on, the standing
lights, low beam and daytime running lights are
switched on automatically depending on the ambi-
ent light.

WARNING Risk of accident when the low
beam is switched off in poor visibility
When the light switch is set to

, the low
beam may not be switched on automatically if
there is fog, snow or other causes of poor visi-
bility such as spray.

In such cases, turn the light switch to

are responsible for vehicle lighting.

Vehicles with AIRMATIC or E-ACTIVE BODY
CONTROL with off-road package: when the
rear fog light is switched on, off-road level +3
will not be available. If the rear fog light is
switched on and off-road level +3 is activated,
the vehicle will be lowered to off-road level
+2.
