Fitting the wheel
After changing a wheel:

Secure the damaged wheel on the spare
wheel bracket with wheel nuts

. When
doing so, make sure that the wheel cannot
come loose.

Cover the wheel with the tyre protection
cover.
X
For safety reasons, regularly check to
ensure that the wheel is securely fastened.
Spare wheel carrier under the vehicle

When changing a wheel, you should also
observe the safety notes in the "Flat tyre"
section (
The spare wheel is on the outside, under the
vehicle on the left behind the cab.
Folding up the underride guard

Remove four bolts
:
using the two-piece
wheel wrench (size 19) from the vehicle
tool kit (

Fold up underride guard

Screw one of bolts

back in.

fold down again.
Removing the spare wheel
!
Always pull the spare wheel carrier as far
forwards as possible before folding it down.
Otherwise, the exhaust pipe could be dam-
aged.
