Use a filter when adding fuel from a fuel
can. The fuel lines and/or the diesel injec-
tion system could otherwise be blocked by
particles from the fuel can.

Preheater block

Do not close the bonnet. Otherwise, you
may damage the connection cable and a
resulting short circuit may damage the
engine electrical system. Lower the bonnet
without closing it and secure the cable to
prevent it from becoming crushed.
The preheater block makes it possible to keep
the engine at operating temperature at out-
side temperatures of down to -40†. The
engine is heated electrically. Power is sup-
plied by a power cable connected to a
230 V power supply.
The preheater block's power socket is in the
engine compartment on the right when
viewed in the direction of travel.
